Two Months Old!

My dear sweet Asher, you are SUCH A HONEY!!! At only two months old, you are already smiling, responding to any person who comes within 5 feet of you, cooing and have just started to chuckle a little bit!! You are so stinkin' cute and SOOO entertaining!

I have to brag on your big brother a little bit because he sure does love you! When he hears you crying he picks up your pacy and puts it in your mouth. Sometimes you take it and sometimes not, but you sure do love to see your brother because every time he comes over you smile ear to ear!

We went to see Dr. R. today, your Pediatrician, and you are a healthy, growing boy! You weigh 13lbs. 12oz., are 23 5/8 inches long and your head is perfect! 9oth percent for weight, 75th for height and about 50% for head. I still can't believe you gained 3 pounds in only one month! You are on the same track as your brother and I LOVE IT!!

You have also started only waking up once in the middle of the night (started this at 4 weeks old), and as of this past week, 3 out of 5 nights, you have slept a solid 7-8 hours before feeding again! This momma feels like a new woman with all this sleep! THANK YOU!!! We're going to do a trial run of putting you in with Caleb pretty soon, just to see how you both sleep. Should be interesting!

This past month with you has truly been overflowing with complete joy! You are so precious to me and daddy, and we can't imagine life without you! We love you honey!! Happy two month birthday!

Everytime I look at the picture above I just laugh! I don't know why, but I just think it's hilarious!

I love the concerned look as you're sleeping...your big brother had the same look when he was a baby too!

This is what I call your "old-man-crying" face. This is the face I get every time you're hungry, and I can't help but laugh just a little bit because not only is your face cute, but your cry is absolutely adorable!!

I had to snap a picture of your mowhawk only because YOU HAVE SO MUCH HAIR!!! I LOVE running my fingers through it after you've gotten your bath, it's so soft and fuzzy!!

And my favorite from this past month! Snapped this one on my iPhone! LOVE LOVE LOVE your smile, especially because I know it's legit, it's not just when you're gassy!!
