Home For Rent!!!!

So, we're downsizing to a smaller place, an apartment actually and are super excited! Because of this, our current place is back up for rent! I've added a TON of pictures below with explainations as well. Please e-mail me if you have any questions or want to come by and check the place out! It will be avialable for rent as of June 1, 2009. Our landlords are WONDERFUL and live right next door, so if you ever need anything it's super easy to get a hold of them.

Here's the specs: 3bd/2ba, all original dark hardwood floors, 2 car garage, HUGE backyard and large brick fireplace. There is also a large utility closet which shares with a large walk in storage space as well. Very shaded front and back yard which helps keep the house cooler than normal, especially in the spring and fall. All three bedrooms, the kitchen and the dining room all have working ceiling fans. There are three built-in bookcases/shelving units which are great for storage. One in the living room (see pics below), one in the dining room next to the fireplace, and one in the back hall across from the guest bath. All rooms have been painted with the colors in the pictures below.

Back Yard Patio View

This is the view when you walk in the front door. The living room is on your right, the 1st bedroom is on your left (see nursery pics below) and the master bedroom is the 2nd door on your left (in the back corner - see pics below). The door you see on the right is a hall closet. You also can't see it in this picture, but there is another hall closet (for coats)on the right, just inside the front door. The door on the back wall you see above is where the furnace is.

This is the view of the living room from the front hall, front door entrance. As you can see, there is a walkthru to the dining room, also where the brick fireplace is.

Living room view from the dining room. The 2" white blinds will stay and are in the living, dining and nursery room.

Here is a view of the gorgeous built-in shelves in the living room. We use them to house our DVD/Blue-Ray collection but can also be used for books, pictures, etc... The white rug (the same as kind as in the master bedroom) is for sale for $10 as well as the blue recliner for $25.

This is the dining room. The wood paneling is original and the landlords have asked to not paint/change it. The dining room leads in to the VERY lare kitchen. The wood door you see on the far wall is to the pantry and the other open doorway leads to the 3rd bedroom/passthru area. The green rug under the table is available for purchase for $10.

As you can see the kitchen is very large, and has french doors out to the patio. The back room on the back wall leads to the large storage/utility room (see pics below).

Another view of the kitchen. All appliances work great. The cabinets are all originals and the landlords have asked that they not be painted/changed. But as you can see, there is TONS of storage room. I especially love the little shelf above the microwave, great for recipe books, etc...

Here's a view of the laundry room. I don't have a pic of the other side of this room, but it's huge and we added some shelving which can be great use for additional pantry space. There is also a rod for hanging clothes and a window as well. The picture above also has a door out to the other side of the back yard.

This is considered a 3rd bedroom and it has a passthrough to the back hallway. We set it up as an office and it has been a great workspace. There is a closet with siding mirrored doors.

This is a view of the back hallway (view from the master bedroom). As you can see, it is a passthrough of the 3rd bedroom. The 1st door on the left is the furnace room and the second door is to the guest bathroom. The attic also has available storage space.

This is the back hall guest bathroom.

This is the master bedroom and is HUGE! It has 4 windows and a door that goes to the backyard. There is also a closet with sliding mirrored doors. The rug is available for purchase as well for $10.

Another view of the master suite.

This is the master bath.

Another view of the master bath, which has a standup shower.

This is the 1st bedroom, just inside the front door. The wall color is current as well. This is the same wall color as in the 3rd bedroom/office. The rug is just an area rug and is available for sale if you would like to keep it in the room for only $10.

Onesies & Burpcloths

So my sweet hubby bought me a sewing machine for Mother's Day! Just what I wanted! I had some extra fabric left over from the bedding that my sister made for me for Caleb's nursery and wanted to make some matching burpcloths. I explored a little further and ended up making a couple onesies with appliques and matching burpcloths. SO FUN!!! Even though it tooke me almost a fullday to figure out my machine, I now know it pretty well and have enjoyed making some fun stuff for my Caleb!

4 Months Old

I can't believe you are 4 months old already my sweet boy! I know I say that every month, but truly, time flies by WAY too fast! You are soo much fun! I am absolutely in love with you right now!

Here are some things I want to remember about this age...
- You LOVE your time with mommy AND daddy
- You love your time with us so much on the weekends that your entire schedule goes out the window and you just want to stay awake all weekend (you still sleep through the night though, thank goodness!)
- You're smiling much more often and not just because you have gas, but becuase something or someone makes you happy!
- We've got you on a schedule that you have set (is that any indication on how steady of a schedule that is?) It's not horrible, you're eating every 4 hours on cue, and you are consistently going to bed between 8-9pm and not waking up again until at least 7am!
- You are taking rice cereal in a bottle, your last bottle of the day, which helps you sleep better and longer because your tummy is more full!
- You do FABULOUS when we go shopping together! I truly am amazed at how well you do!
- You LOVE your new sling (and so does mommy!!)
- Your laugh is contagious, kind of like yawning!
- You are grabbing for your toys, and your bottle
- You like the music tat plays on your playmat and you think it's funny when you hit the rattle hanging above you!
- YOU ARE ROLLING ON YOUR SIDE!!! BOTH SIDES!!!
- You are wearing 6-9 month clothes and are loving your cloth diapers!

Your 4 month stats:
Weight: 18 lbs. 4 oz. (95%)
Height: 24 1/4 in. (95%)
Head: 16 (95%)

You do have a small flat spot on your head, but Dr. Crow doesn't seem to bee too worried. We'll just have to have more tummy time!

AND, YOUR HEART MURMER IS GONE!!! Praise the Lord!!

Here are some pics of you at 4 months old!

I'm innocent, Mom, I promise!

The lengths this sweet boy will go to see what's on TV!

Sleeping in your sling, on mommy, I LOVE IT!!

At Cade's 3rd Birthday Party. You didn't know what to think of the playground, but give it two years and you will LOVE it!

Your very blunt thoughts of the Bumbo!

So sweet and curious!

"I'm just chillin' mom!"

"Really, Mom! Do you HAVE to keep taking so many pictures of me?!?"

Sitting up (with a litte help!) on the couch with mom!

Be Blessed and Encouraged!

Our Newest Advenures

So, Caleb and I are having a lot of "firsts" this week! We went Strollerskaing with some of the moms from my Square One class, until a grade school with about 200 kids showed up and we left. Yes, I'm a little paranoid about this whole Swine Flu...

Next, while I thought Caleb was sick with allergies and congestion, I was wrong! He is getting his first tooth!! Oh my gosh, I can't believe it! Yep, we think it's his top left tooth that is crowning just below the gum surface!

And finally, you have to watch the video at the bottom for the other new trick he's learned this week. I'm telling you, as hard as this week has been, it will not be easily forgotten!!

Sheila and I "Strollerskating" with our two boys!

My new favorite face of Caleb's! He does this when I'm using him as my weights and lifting him up in the air and side to side. I have to build up my arm an ab muscles somehow!
My two favorite boys!
Another sweet smiling face!

And another one!

"fish face!" He loves this!

Caleb discovering his feet for the first time!

"Watchya doin' mom?"

Nothing like baby rolls as big as Caleb's!

And for the finale...

Caleb rolling on to his side fo the very first time!

(Yes, I did catch it on camera, am I lucky or what!?!?!)
