So, I know I've been putting a few teasers on Facebook, and have also been posting other people's WONDERFUL and AMAZING pictures of the wedding, but here are all the details!
Hannah, such a sweet young lady, who just so happens to be one of my old small group girls whom I had the pleasure of leading when she was in 8th grade, got married this past weekend. Good Friday to be exact. Hannah and I first talked through wedding stuff starting last fall, and she had a pretty clear picture in her mind of what she was looking for. "Vintage Texas" to be exact. So, that's where our journey began.
Since then, I've spent countless hours wrapping hundreds of mason jars in burlap, lace, twine and yarn, as well as researching the perfect shade of pink roses to compliment the amazing color of her bridesmaid dresses and the overall look and feel that she wanted for her outdoor country chic vintage wedding! Little did I know how absolutely enthralled I would be doing all of the floral arrangements as well as decorations for her big day. Let me say first though that I can DEFINITELY NOT take all of the credit, I had COUNTLESS hands on deck ready and waiting to help me set everything up as soon as I arrived at the 1899 Farmhouse, which was one of the most outstanding wedding venues I've ever seen in my life. It's the picture perfect location for the type of wedding Hannah dreamed of.
After finally settling on the exact rose I wanted to use, as well as the other flowers, including vintage Green Hydrangea, White Hydrangea, Baby's Breath, Mini Spray Roses and Bells of Ireland, I was ready to get going on the fun part, actually putting everything together. I knew exactly how I wanted everything to look once it was done, but for the 1st time, I was actually a little nervous about being able to make my vision come to life. Not from a people pleasing standpoint, but I just felt like my vision was so clear in my head, and I just wanted so much for it to become a reality. And I'm so excited that it truly did! Needless to say, I went in to this whole process with REALLY high hopes and expectations, and I was absolutely thrilled beyond belief at the final product!
So, now on to the fun part, the pictures!!! I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I did watching my vision come to life!
Can't believe how incredibly PERFECT these roses turned out!! And wait until you see how big they grew in just two short days!!
This was the same tablescape that were on all 20 reception tables. Included were 3-5 decorated mason jars filled with a mixture of roses, hydrangea, mini calla lilies, baby's breath and green hypericum berries. Also, most tables had candles and at least one mason jar empty for little pieces of paper to be filled out and put in with advice for the bride and groom.
The cake table. It looked so amazing at night, with the two large vases on the left filled with the bridesmaids bouquets. It's hard to see how beautiful it was from so far back and during the day, but take my word for it!
The candy table, LOVE IT!!
Love the natural lighting and the framed picture in this one below!
The dinner table - continuing the "Vintage Texas" theme we were going for!
Guest book sign-in table. LOVE the antique white dresser!
Each guest could write a special note to the couple and drop it in the vase
The Arbor - My vision for this Arbor was probably more overwhelming than anything else. I've never done an arbor before. Thankfully, I had two amazing ladies help pull this together and I am completely happy with how it turned out!!
The guest table, complete with a custom burlap bunting made by yours truly!
I LOVED this window idea that Hannah came up with! Brilliant!
The BEAUTIFUL bride!
One of the precious flower girls, who helped me tremendously in setting up the tablescapes! THANK YOU Lucy!!!
The toss bouquet set up with a few other arrangements on the slideshow table
The amazing cake!!
EVERYTHING about the location was breathtaking! The beautiful landscaping, the perfectly positioned farmhouse, the pool leading up to the "barn". Would eat this place up if it ever came on the market!!
Wedding favors! Personalized mason jars!
PRICELESS!!!
A view of the reception barn from the back. You can kind of see (from a distance) the cake table backdrop of lights with the sheer fabric)
Night time cake table view (sorry the coloring/lighting is off)
The Bridal party!!
Final attempt to get a good shot of the cake table!
